Which pays more?

• Per sale, print on demand usually pays more (margin > royalty) — if you can drive the traffic.
• At scale with a strong partner, licensing can out-earn it through reach you couldn't get alone (e.g. shelves in major retailers).
• Royalties are passive; POD margin is active. The 'more' depends on whether you have an audience or want it hands-off.
